Pender was a proud supporter of the 2020 CAN Pro-Am Hockey Tournament held in support of the Canucks Autism Network.

On Sunday July 14 2019, Ian Collins and Eric Tse participated in The Rotary Club of Vancouver's Annual Bike-A-Thon. They rode 115km, from Burnaby to Harrison Hot Springs, to raise awareness and money for the Vancouver Hearing Foundation.

The Pender team took part in Canada's largest 10k road race on April 14, 2019. Despite the unexpected hail, Team Pender took part "to encourage community spirit, healthy living and fitness". Congratulations to all who took part in the race.
