Pender once again sponsored and supported the Ride Don't Hide event in Vancouver to support CMHA's drive to build "awareness, inclusion and acceptance" of mental health issues in Canada. According to their website, two thirds of people with mental illness do not access help including children and youth.
Pender's cycling team once again tackled the two day course from Vancouver to Seattle, raising money for ongoing research into cancer diagnosis and treatment at the BC Cancer Foundation.
Pender's Investment Team and other colleagues supported the Down Syndrome Research Foundation at their annual Up the Down Market "stimulated stock market" dinner in Vancouver.
