In August and again in December 2015, members of the Pender team volunteered at the Vancouver Food Bank. The Foodbank believes that "people should have access to healthy and nutritious food where they live and in a dignified manner." We were happy to help out at the warehouse to support this important cause.
A team of Pender cycling enthusiasts rode the 60km course from Burnaby to Richmond and back in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association's Ride Don't Hide event. Our sponsorship and the team's ride raised money "to help people in your community get the best possible care and support in their recovery from mental illness."
