Cheri joined as a Partner with Pender Ventures in 2025. Cheri began her career in 2006 and brings experience in investment leadership across venture capital, private equity, venture debt, M&A, and valuations, as well as a track record of helping innovative companies grow and thrive.
Cheri is passionate about building game changing, high impact companies, with diverse and multi-faceted management teams and boards.
Cheri holds a Masters in Commerce from The University of Queensland. She has a Certificate in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies from Stanford University's School of Engineering and is also a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA Canada and Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand).
In her free time, Cheri enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and cycling. She also has a love of travel and has visited more than 65 countries.
